Dear band dudes,

When Neal (Doughty) announced that Azoff Entertainment wasn't going to handle fan mail anymore, I had to come up with a way to stay in touch with you guys that did NOT involve relying on an unofficial fan webmaster to forward messages. Then I came up with the idea for this site. Now we can stay in touch virtually round the clock, especially when you guys are on tour. Just think, guys: Kimmers heaven is but a mouse click away, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week....JUST FOR YOU (wink).

Here's how it works: locate your picture in the table below the official REO site banner , mouse click on it, and your Kimmers missive will open up in a new browser window. The most current letter will appear on that page with the date and a catchy, interest-grabbing title. Every time I write a gnu installment, the previously gnu one will be moved to your archive page, which only launches from the "Dear {You}" page. But don't worry, I plan on letting the archives stack up for a long while, and I'll give you plenty of advance notice before I delete them.

In addition to keeping tabs on your own letters, feel free to read each other's. That way, you all have the same information, and I don't have to repeat myself, or stress out my blonde brain trying to remember what I told, and to whom.

Lastly, keep an eye on this page for up-to-the-minute gnus, messages, and miscellaneous fun shit.

Get ready, gentlemen! My wheels are turnin, and I'm ready to shake it loose!

IMPORTANT SITE GNUS!! (most recent update is at the top)

Coming very, verrrrry soon, to this website.....Kim's Graduation.html!! It will feature cool graduation pix, and a captivating story about my transformation from mild-mannered, geek wanna be to fully degreed webmistress and Photoshop "artiste". You won't want to miss it, so keep checking back!

I have some sad gnus to report. REO's road manager, Gary "Gaz" Douglas has recently passed away (see Arch Allies picture above). I have extended my condolences to the REO family through K.C.'s July 11th cyber letter. (((REO family))). Rest in peace, road dawg. (((Gaz)))

When I lived in L.A., my good buddy James "Motor" Merritt, Alan Gratzer's drum tech, agreed to an interview with me for my one hit wonder REO newsletter, The Flying Tuna Chronicle.

The newsletter never lived to see a second issue, nor did Motor's interview get published in it, but you can still savor the fruits of our labor by clicking here (it also launches from the picture of Motor on the Retro Speedwagon page). I added lotsa nifty pix of the road crew from the old days, as well as pix of Motor & Alan on the job!

I also tidied up the bottom of each page on the Backstage website , adding gnu target links, banners to the Bridge Building site, and "alt tags" for each image. (Alt tags are those little yellow balloons that pop up when you mouse over an image, with the picture's name written inside it).

The backstage site has been tweaked! Check out the pics of me & Hittman on the Knoxville page, and me & Bruce on the House of Blooze page!

The "Back to top" target links on each page have been relocated to the actual BOTTOM of the page. The way I had it set up previously, you had more shit to look at, but I was sending you back to the top of the page prematurely! Ruh roh!! :OP What's the Latin phrase for that, pagis interruptis? Hehehehehe!

Hey guys! Lookit what I found gathering dust in the Kimmers bag o' tricks! Click on the banner...if you dare! Hehehehehehehe!

For this site, I added a hit counter at the bottom of the index page. Every time you launch a page, the numbers go up, and I feel like a stud muffin. So stop by again and again and again soon!! :O)

Also, check out the fresh coat of paint I applied to Retro Speedwagon! I wanted a Hi Infidelity color scheme to enhance my Hi Infidelity story! Hehehehehe!

The URL to the Backstage site has changed!! It's now:
